Recently bought an 1982 SC Targa and would like to replace the current radio with the original Blaupunkt. Checked ebay...both US and Germany...nothing. Just posted on Rennlist stuff wanted forum as well. Do you guys have any other suggestions on where to find one? Thanks

yeah the original radios are hard to come by .. even harder working
you might be lucky at a swap meet or may have to go for the clasic look radio with the modern components behind it.

Just a thought.
In the 70's & 80's we had several Bamberg radios in our cars.
However, the tape transport system never failed to "fail",
and was a real pain to have repaired.
Prior to purchase, you may want to contact Midwest Electronics for a repair and parts source.
On the plus side, the radio had a great front end.
There are other period correct radios that may meet your needs.
Good luck,
Gerry
