Question 901 THREADED Shift Lever????

901 THREADED Shift Lever????
Has anyone ever heard or seen one???? I pulled the aftermarket **** off one of my 901 shifters & the dang thing is threaded..

Have not heard of threaded ****.

Shift **** on my '68 912 901 is held on with a "crush sleeve"
