I forgot that last time I was out here, that a large stone kicked up and gave me A large chip that also immediately caused a crack. The size of the damage is a good half dollar plus size, so I can't imagine it being able to be fixed or pass inspection. What am I looking at replacement wise? I called the dealership and they said they can get it in 2 days.....but is $880 for the shield alone! I am also going to look on Pelican, EBAY, and call my Porsche mechanic.
can't see the crack but i'd remove that door handle off the windshield.
pelican would be a good place to start hunting for OEM - also most local auto glass shops can get much less expensive replacements as long as you don't want OEM

HAHA, dam thing is smiling at me! I called my shop and he said he can have it installed for around $550. He also told me to call my insurance and they will cover it. I called Hagerty and made the claim.
