Default minor body work in LA for 84

I have an '84 Carrera that had some minor damage from a parking lot - hood and left fender - I bought salvage parts from an '87 and a 'friend of a friend' did the install for me - long and short of it is - I should have used someone else - the hood is out of alignment a bit - some of the rubber isn't re installed right and he didn't do the squiggle seal on the fender.

I need a rec for a body shop to do these tweaks for me at a reasonable/honest price in LA - prefer west side, or Thousand Oaks, Agoura, Ventura, Oxnard.

Thanks!

Keep in mind you want body work on a Porsche ..it isnt a Honda so dont expect Honda prices .. they are all just cars but it is what it is my friend .. I am sure you will find one but keep in mind you get what you pay for.

You're looking for a needle in a haystack. A professional won't touch the car because of future liability issues. Re-repairs are a big, ugly issue in the body shop biz, and what you're asking for is almost not fair. Imagine going to Pep Boys, buying a set of plugs and points for your 914, and then asking a pro to install them. No self-respecting shop will touch that job unless you sign on to having the "rest of" the maintenance (valve adjustment, set fuel mixture, oil & filter change, safety inspection, etc.) done at the same visit.

For example, what if the lower latch for the front lid is damaged, the pro doesn't do anything with it (doesn't even touch/adjust it), and your lid flies open on the Santa Monica Freeway and somebody gets killed in the accident? Who's responsible? The body shop the car was just at.

I don't mind paying a fair price for the work - I know it isn't a honda - life is a bit easier now then when this was all done 3 years ago - then I just needed my car back on the road for some weekend sanity.

I would also be more then happy to sign a waiver on it. The car isn't perfect by any means (170k plus miles - all stock) - so I am not looking concourse quality - just someone trust worthy who understands how to work on a Pcar. My experience with LA body shops for non pcars with insurance companies has been less then satisfactory.

This isn't a body shop, but the did great work on my 911 for years, so I trust them. They might have some valuable info on what you are looking for:
