Post 911 SC Questions

Hi you guys don't know me I'm on the 944 board since I have an 951. I am looking to maybe buying an SC and would like to know if you guys have any good links to site that have good data on the SC and what should I worry about when buying one. Thanks ahead of time.

Sebastian,

On the tech.rennlist.com site, or from the main Rennlist forum page, you can get to the 911SC FAQ which may answer some questions.

If I may add...
SC Engines are very reliable.
Hopefully the car you look at will have been upgraded to oil-fed Carrera tensioners - Will save you from a top-end disaster.
Also - Get a PPI - Pre-purchase Inspection.

Also if you are a PCA member, talk to the people in your local chapter, you will learn a lot and may find a good, clean car from one of the members. If you find a car make sure you do a PPI,much cheaper than finding out after you pay for the car!Take your time, get educated and enjoy the hunt.Good luck

Not pampered in the negative sense of being babied, but enjoyed properly and maintained meticulously in more cases.
