Default Do you know this 911 Weissach?

Trying to find out some, non-biased, information about this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...item2ebdaebdb0 car. Have spoke with the person who is listing the car and was hoping for some history.

Thank you in advance for your time.

It might be a bad picture (too bright) but it looks like engine bay was repaired... the welding on the lower right corner does not look original... no factory stickers is another clue...as by seller's description there was paint work on the right side... it could be an accident affecting the rear right fender. Again, it might be a bad picture...pretty hard to judge by digital pics...

Still for an SC looks like a not to bad car if it checks out thoroughly .

As a side note i met some guy in Hershey who told me he had offered some guy 41G for his Weisach .. if i had been siting i would have fallen off my chair ... he told me the guy was thinking it over but really wanted 46..... holy crapers ..

the guy then proceeded to ask me if I thought 40G was a good deal for that car ... turned into an interesting conversation for another time.....

There was a 30k original miles Weissach on eBay last week. Starting bid was $40k.

Don't think it sold as $40k didn't meet their minimum. It probably is the same car, but iirc, it was in New York.

Nope, didn't sell. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1980-...item231c2e615a

That car has been re-listing for over a year. Super nice, Concours winner. I thought about going after it several times but I want a driver and think I should leave that one to a collector. I am very tempted though.

Interesting interior, Don't think I have ever seen Grey/beige with red piping & carpets.
