You did great on the price. Trust me you won't lose much for the trade if and when you come back to a classic. Even better, just keep both when the time comes.

I think I did, too. It's got power everything, prem Bose, manual (off course), auto dimming, colored crests, carbon interior, stainless steel pipes, xenon lights, 6 cd changer, 19" wheels, etc. Great car.

Rule # 1: You don't come to this section and talk about options such as AUTO this, POWER that etc .. Just kidding. I am glad you found the right car for you. Enjoy and post pics when you get a chance.

Haha, point taken. Actually all that matters right now is that it has the 911 legacy, a 3.8 rear engine and killer manual gearbox The rest is fluff (but I'll gladly take an AC and the active suspension )

Mine had a bunch of cosmetic "damage", no AC, heat, etc... Seemed like a good price to me.

Congrats on the new (to you) 997. I went from an '87 3.2 to a 2006 997S last summer. While I enjoyed the '87, the '06 911 gives me an adrenalin rush I never experienced with the other one.

Looks nice, but the wheels need to be addressed-and so it begins down the slope. Have fun!

Very classy color. I like the entire package. Kudos for you getting a proper gear box.
