Post Bye-bye '87 Carrera

Recently decided to look for a 993 to replace my '87 Carrera. I've received some excellent advice from this board re where to begin The Search. If there is anyone out there interested in a truly superb '87, please e-mail me. I'm in Savannah..bcgoodwin1@aol.com

Burt,
I recently sold my '87 911. It is a great car, and at times I miss its simplicity and direct, sporty feel. I had prepped it quite a bit. I bought a '96 993, and appreciate the improvement in throttle response, but especially the improvement in the brakes. I must say that they are both wonderful cars, similar and different. The 993 feels like a big brother. Good luck finding the one you want. You won't be disappointed. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />

Burt Goodwin:

Keep what you got!

I went from 1989 911 to 1993 RSA and then back to 1988 911 coupe.

The 964's and 993 are to expensive maint. cost for me!

I loved the RSA but she broke down so much!
The 964 and 993 have to much computer stuff!

Problems problems problems

Keep your car and have it supp'd up!

Cheers
