what yr was the soft top targa made
Have a chance to pick up a soft top targa tonight. By soft top I mean the one with the plastic window in the back in canvas, What engine is in these models that has a sixpack on it.? the 914/6 2.L ? Car looks to be in the late 60 early 70 .

Most common soft windows are 65 to 67. The hard window was intro'd in 68, but the soft window was an option through 71...though you rarely see a 69 to 71 car with the soft window...
