The bad news is it is as rusty as a Porsche can be .Damage from batteries ,rust through on fenders and rockers (still has Fuchs mags).Restoration , or part out maybe auction ? Got a 1966 911 l too with relplaced front pan but not much original .Opinions ?

Welcome to Rennlist. We like to see pictures. Also, some background on the car, the seller, whether you would do the resto yourself, where you are located, etc. Give us some of that and you will get plenty of excellent advice. As a rule, though, it is generally advised to run from rust, with exceptions made for rare or important cars.

Thanks for the reply. [I] inherited the car from my father ,he boughy it circa 1974 so I don't think it had too many owners. Parked ib garage since 1980 when it wouldn't pass inspection due to wiring and front pan damage (battery acid ). Would do resto my self (fair stick welder need practice for oxy/actelene or MIG). I'm located near Valley Forge, PA. Only 614 imported , may be rare and important. Will post pics .
