Hello, I've got a 79 911 Targa and I'm curious about suspension adjustments to level the ride height of the car.
Looking directly at the rear of the car, the passenger side appears lower than the drivers side. I measured the distance from the bottom of the car to the level pavement (from the front of the rear wheel wells) My eye view was confirmed. The passenger side is about an inch and 1/4 lower than my drivers side. (From the floor pan.) What kind of adjustments are necessary? The car has about 80K miles.

Jake,
At the rear of each a-arm there is a vertical bolt that adjusts the front height. In the rear, if you have adjustable spring plates, you have some adjustment fairly easily. An inch and a quarter is alot, and likely would require reindexing it on the rear torsion bar. It's a bit tedious to get right. Recommend corner balancing it when the heights are roughly correct. This all assumes that's it's just out of adjustment, and that everything otherwise is in good working condition.
