Post Early Hydralic Struts/convert for inserts?

I have a pair of early hydralic struts,
can these be modified to accept Bilstien inserts?

Thanks,

Hi:

Are you talking about the Hydropneumatic struts used on the 69-73 "E" cars?

Those are now throwaways.

Sorry to tell you that those are no longer supported nor are there any conversions anymore.

You must start with either Boge or Bilstein struts to use any Bilstein insert. Be careful about buying a used strut since they can be bent or in the case of Bilstein, have worn out bearings at the top of the strut tubes.
