Just did a tune-up on my recently purchased first Porsche - an 83 Targa. I went to check the timing after the plug change and realized I didn't know of any convenient access to +12V power for the timing light. Other than making an extension cable for the +12V power cord for the timing light to reach the battery, can someone share if there is access to +12V near the engine?

Mark,
Keep in mind that I am a hack and I have a 71. However, there is a tiny little fuse box on the left side in the back of my 911. I usually just connect the timing light to one of the higher amp fuse terminals.
