Default DME 15 versus 30 amp

Can't find a thread that deals with this.

I was going to replace my existing DME relay (1986 911) with a new one I purchased at peilcan which is for my model year.

The new relay is 30amp and the one in the car now is 15amp......is this right ?

Secondly...does the old one just pull out .....hard ? I tugged on it a bit but guess I need to tugt harder ?

Thanks

Your DME Relay is secured to the floor and held by a small nut viewable from under the front of the seat.

I would STRONGLY suggest purchasing the Bosch instead of the ÜRO unit.

Ask me why.....

Not familiar with the Kaehler product.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

Good luck,

Gerry
