Default Fuel line replacement

Well I have a fuel line leaking very badly on my 86 so I ordered up some Porsche lines and am planning on replacing them all. I was wondering if anyone had any tips about doing this job, if it can be done without lowering the engine and/or removing the intake? Thanks!

Amber Lamps did this job with the engine in the car.

IIRC, he did a partial engine drop he lowered the engine enough to easily reach the lines.

I just finished mine. did not lower motor but pulled entire intake.

in the process pulled the AC and backdated heat.

good luck. you are fortunate to have the opportunity to repl your fuel lines after experiencing a leak.

part of my reason to pull intake was to do this.

Default fuel line

My 87 was leaking also, tech was able to replace without dropping engine or affecting intake. He said he had to use a few choice words to get him through the job.

I did mine with the engine on the stand so I don't have much of a comparo.

With the intake out of the way, things should be very easy.
