Post Fuel Distributor Rebuild Kit

Does anyone know where I could get a F/D rebuild kit?
I just put the engine back into my car, get it fired up, and what do you know...the F/D starts leaking right where the 2 halves mate

Any help you guys can provide is much appreciated!!! I want to get this car running!!

Hi Dave:

I am sorry to tell you that there are no such things as FD rebuild kits.

Bosch rebuilds them in-house and does not provide any parts, gaskets or components aside from rebuilt ones.

I remember that thread ^, and I was soooo hoping to find that someone finally made a fuel distributor rebuild kit. Those things are expensive, and if you happen to have an '89 930, then you're fuched if it goes fugazi.

Kingster,
I did rebuild mine but used the o-rings that were in the fuel distributor since they were in pretty good shape. It's been about 8 years and I have not had any problems - knock on wood.
