Just for thoughts, I may add that ABS brakes do not work right with a positive scrub radius. This was a major design objective behind the late offset 944 suspension and the 964.
On another note, I may suggest Tim; pick up a copy of "How To Make Your Car Handle" by Fred Puhn. It is an easy read that explains fundamental chassis dynamics well without being totally scientific and boring. Things like roll radius, polar moment of inertia, wheel offset, and basic alignment primary angles are easily explained and you will never look at an automobile the same. This and a good weekend at a PCA drivers Education will shine a new light on your Porsche and car enthusiasm.

You might consider Turbo Twists. You'd have more backspacing, so you'd actually need the spacers, plus you'd be able to put 265 17" tires back there. They might not look totally correct, and probably would need a tail to balance them out, but they'd be very very wide.

Another thought. When I installed the spacers, the rears went on easily but the fronts would not go all the way on. I did finally get them on when screwing on the lugs. Figured it was just a tight fit. But did I f**k up the wheel hubs???

I'm not sure what the problem on the front could be, but the spacers may not fit over the grease cap on the center of the hub. Just a hunch. I wouldn't go so far as to say you F'ed up anything, but you will find out what it is when you take them off. let us know.

This will give you an idea:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scrub_radius
Other problems are on the way if you continue with the spacers and don't compensate with different wheels. Sorry if this is bad news.
+1.....they are probably what threw a jab at your rear wheel bearing, as well.

If you want "aggressive looks", do it with different wheels/tires.

Then you could apply for ugly 911 OTY award, as well, IMO.

+1^^^^^ Hate that look. What are spacers used for then? Wish I wouldn't have wasted the money!

Spacers aren't needed, that is for sure.

Nope, they surely are not needed on the normal 911 with stock wheels.

BTW; HRE Wheels will use your wheel centers and create any offset that you might want. The 17" x 10" rears on my PCA Club Race car were done by them...the point in the video that you want is at about 1:15. Enjoy!

Nice video and beautiful car.
