Default HVAC HELP

I can't figure out how to get fresh air out of the center vents! Even after reading the manual, nothing relates to the center vents other than the A/C. The A/C is working and blows out stong and cold thru the centers.

If you have ac, you will not get fresh air from the center cents. Fresh air only comes from the center vents if you do not hav factory ac.

No problem...I asked the same question a few years back...manual is not too clear...also doesn't tell you that if your engine is running warm, the heater fan in the engine compartment will turn on to help cool it down along with the oil cooling fan in the right front wheel well. Pretty neat engineering for a 25 year old car.

Now if I can just figure out how to get my factory alarm working....that's probably pretty easy!

I noticed the fan go on the other day, while the car was just shut off after a run, but I turned the key to the position to operate the windows! To own a classic Porsche, enlightens one to why we pay so much for them new and used!
What alarm? That standard?? I am trying to get my headlight washers to work. You have the trick for that and how advanced is that feature as well!!!

Headlight Washers...assuming everything is connected and working to get the headlight washers to come on you must:

1. Have the wipers on
2. Have the headlights on
3. Push the button

The spray mists out in shots so if you want a few bursts, you have to cycle the headlight washer switch.

Alarm was not standard. If you have it, there will be a key lock on the inside of the driver door near the latch. Mine is there, but I don't have a key.

Enjoy!

Your a wealth of information! I actually didn't know you had to have the wipers on, I only read the headlights. I don't have that alarm
