That doesn't solve the whole question-that still is not a bolt on kit. Lots of afterwork was done on top of cutting, bonding, etc.

Without reading the whole thread so I'm shooting from the hip here, but it's probably 'glass not metal on the car which is easy enough to make look seamless, the insulation on all the motor and exhaust bits is to probably keep from frying the resin out of it.
