Default Has anyone seen this body kit?

I found this car while searching eBay. Does anyone know who sells this kit? I love how there are no seams between the rockers and the fender / quarter panels. How is that accomplished? Is that the body kit or is it custom body work? Probably some newbie questions, I just haven't seen such a clean look.

By the way this is my first post. I haven't gotten my 911 yet, but i love this forum. You guys have created a great forum.

I have never seen this before, but what I have found in my time with 911's there are more flavors of body modifications then there are flavors of jelly beans. It is quite a cool car though.

I'd say it was custom, or someone customized a body kit by filling in, etc.

Thank god that has a upgraded 3.0 - you sure wouldn't want anybody to think you were a poser with that 2.7 in there...

Sometimes the wheels/tires cost more (if not close to) the actual car itself!

In order to get the lines smooth like that the fenders/quarter panels have to be molded to the side skirts giving the illusion it's all one piece.

My point on that was that I call BS on the claim.

Why all the asbestos? tape around the muffler. Leaking? Personally, I wouldn't touch the car.

Haha, sorry guys. Just been traveling. No, I have no stake in the car nor am I trying to promote it. Just thought the body kit (especially the lack of seams) was interesting. It seems the car is a 1977 S with a 964 front, and a quasi SC/993 GT2 rear. Not a very valuable build in the eyes of a purist, but again just didn't know if you guys had seen a seamless kit like this or if it was custom body work. I've seen rockers like this before on a few cars, but they all have very clears seams where they join the body. I like the cleaner look myself (although I don't care for the entire amalgamation).

Btw, Norske I think the tape is insulation keeping heat away from the motor. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Welcome back

I agree with you ,, seeing the seems makes it look somewhat tacky and " stick on" . But i'm a purist anyway and like the way they are built, not into Frankenporsches. Now that i went back and looked at the pics that air cleaner cover is hilarious.
