Default Heavy-Duty Wheel Cleaner

I'm a big Griot's fan, but their wheel cleaner just couldn't get the wheels on my Cayman clean. It worked great on the 911 Fuchs, but left behind tons of crap on the Cayman's whels.

Called Griot's a few months back and they said they had a new "Heavy-Duty" wheel cleaner (http://www.griotsgarage.com/product/...ortby=ourPicks). I was skeptical, but I ordered it and it works perfectly. Just wanted to pass this along to anyone who might have the same problem with getting other wheels cleaned.

Happy New Year all!

Works very well. Have you tried Sonax. If you can tolerate the rotten egg smell, the product is worth trying out. I use the Griots regular wheel cleaner for summers and use Sonax for the winter time grime.

+1 on the Sonax...I used it to clean my 2004 Subaru STi BBS wheels and they did a great job.

Default I like P21s wheel cleaner

Spray Gel is my preference
I think it keeps them cleaner longer but I may be hallucinating.

+1 Griots Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner. Sprays on clear, turns purple when working. Ph balanced, safe and smells good too! Cleaned the back side w/o much effort. Get the scrubbing brush too.

I'll add those to my Griot's wish list!

The turtle wax stuff works as good as anything I've ever used and I think I've used them all.

+2 on Sonax. That stuff is unbelievably good. Better than the P21S wheel cleaners and everything else I've tried.
