Post 1986 911 Carrera Odometer gear

Hi
I am interested in locating a source to purhase the nylon gear that drives the odometer in my 1986 911 and as well as for a 1987 944. If anyone can help with this I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Mine odometer just died in the SC. For ~$100 the pro's will repair it, not sure I would want to open that thing up.

Sorry I took so long in responding, but my computer went down. Taking the odometer/speedo is really quite simple. I have tanken them apart with no problems. However locating the gear is the big problem.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

You might want to try the guys at Overseas Speedometer. They just repaired my speedo and were great to work with.
