Sometimes when I start my car it take 3 or four attempts to get it to idle by it self. Well sometimes in those attempts the car runs out of juice to get the engine to even begin to crank over. The car does have a small short which has caused me to have to charge this battery dozens of times in the battery's short life of just over a year. Also, if I let the car rest for a bit after I lose juice, the power comes back and it will start sometimes. Also, I have no problem getting the car to turn over I just jump the car. Is this most likely the battery or could it be something else. Any suggestions?
