Default 911 sc wind noise?

The only 911 I've ever driven in is the one I own (for a whole 2 weeks now) so no experience.
There seems to be quite a bit of wind noise at speed (60+ mph) and wondering if this is the norm due to the rain gutters and door body set?

Where does it seem to be coming from? You can get some from bad door and windscreen seals.

I suggest finding a friend that has a 911 and swapping turns in the passenger seat..these windshields are much flatter than the new cars and the noise at first can seem like a lot...after a couple months I dont even notice it but you sure cant talk on the phone at 60!

might be an issue, might be the car....get a second opinion

Kind of sounds like the wind wing area, leading side window area, the doors are perfectly aligned/gapped so maybe that felt seal jobby is a tad flat.
I can talk on the cell at 70 mph tho so maybe it is normal.
Damn, now I have to get a friend too!

My sunroof makes a lot of noise @ 50 mph. Seal needs to be worked on but for now it does not leak

A new windshield seal cut down a lot of wind noise on my car.

Coupe with sunroof...am getting new windshield and surround Wed and have been told that may help altho it looks like the original glass and surround in there now so I can't imagine how unless it had a non Porsche after market surround that didn't fit properly.
Could be normal...I do like all of the mech noises the car makes..as it should..a performance vehicle should make mech noises and the wind thing, who knows.

You were absolutely correct.
The old rubber surround had warped (hardened) in places and was slightly 'proud' as the Brits say and was making the majority of the racket.
Hagerty Ins. popped for everything to include the new Porsche surround and trim no questions asked. (stone chip and crack)
