Just pray you don't run into an lsx car with a turbo because your little 944 would be such a distant spec in the rearview it would be confused with a prius.
No cockiness here, I love running against cars with larger engines.

I did all the praying I could and darn it I ran into one with my little 944... He made me look like a Civic towing a anchor...

that was awesome! Congrats on what is obviously a very solid build on your 951! I never understood why people get so butt hurt when a built up 4 cylinder beats a v8. If someone in a 3 cylinder geo metro blew the doors off my turbo 3.2 all I would want to do is give them props!!!!

That looked like a Hertz rental car Vette. It has been said before - Nothing performs like a rental.

Thanks! Its a real sleeper, no one expects 951s to be quick with their little 4 cylinders. This 951 has been known to embarrass 996 turbos too win or lose, I don't care Im a automobile enthusiast.

The car is a factory freak, fastest stock LS3 I have whittnessed. 12.3@117mph. My buddy practically stole this car at a auction.

They just don't like to admit a few mods on a 944T will spank most 911 na and many V8's. . But you and I know. Lol. Acrually most 944T out there are usually modified and therefore most in the 300-350whp range.

Actually I forgot to tell you once the 2.8 is done I'm getting vanity plates. "EATSV8S". Lol

Too bad you're not closer to me I'd show you a good butt whooping in my slow 911
People with big egos and big V8's always have excuses as to why they get whooped by a 4 cyl or a 911 or whatever it may be. Turbo FTW

Which car are you referring to? The yellow Vette with the black stripe in the original post looks like a Hertz rental to me.

I'm sure he is referring to the yellow.

You got about 30 days to try. Because in about 30 days my current signature will be replaced with a 2.8 stroker and 20psi and custom tune 4xx whp+

Unless you have a GT2 or Ruf ?? And if you do I would be happy to get whooped by one of those. Lol

Yea the V8 guys really get chapped when they get beat by 151 cubic inches. Lol

That's probably the most profound statement I've ever seen here. Wow, we're impressed.

As noted, forced induction makes up for displacment. Then you talk modifications on top of that in your little scenario. Play fair and put a turbo on the 911, and "a few mods", and the food chain stays as it should be.

The FIA had a formula back in the heyday of racing, forced induction counted for a 50% increasement in displacement. You could run up to the low 3 liters with a turbo, and compete with 5 liter NA cars.

judging by his signature and profile pic, he has dual gt30r turbos and custom intercoolers which could easily be running over 600hp or more depending on his set up. those gt series turbos are no joke...

Be that as it may, his statement is still true, a lightly modded 951 could outrun most n/a 911s made. But I do personally know the power of a turbo'd "n/a" 911 and agree that would put the 911 in favor again. However you have to remember you could put 500 dollars into a 951 to get it there, where it took me well over 2000 and a lot more significant mods to get my car to the point of being much faster again... If a Geo metro beats a Lamborghini then it beat it. I hate it when people cry about how "oh if i put a turbo and nos and drag radials and better pistons and blahblahblahblah on my Lamborghini, I would have smoked you!!!" Well guess what? you didn't, and until you do, you got beat and that's it.

There is working harder or working smarter. More displacement is working harder. Forced induction is working smarter. Is that profound enough for you?
