A buddy of mine w/ a '89 Targa tells me he needs a new targa top (I don't know exactly what the damage/problem is except he says there was at least one hole). He is the original owner(61,000 mi.), and still goes to the dealer he bought it from. They wanted $4,500 for a new top! I told him I'd put it put to the list to see what other Targites (Targanians?) thought or did about new or replaced Targa tops.

Awaiting replies from the most enthusiastic collective knowledge/experience on the internet...

Try Dan at Cars Inc. Does a great resto at a much lower price. As long as the frame is not broken Dan can repair it.

...haven't used Dan yet(but as a T-owner it's inevitable), but if you check prior posts in here, his workmanship comes very highly recommended.

This was the email that I used about a year ago to get in touch with Dan. There is a web site, or was, but can't find it now. If I locate I will post it later tonight.

Dan did my top and it came out perfect. Top and headliner. His work was flawless and he was very helpful and timely. Did everything that he said he would on time. Highly recommended. He is in New Jersey.
