911 Cover
Now it's time for Xmas gift ideas for the wife. She's already figured that anything Porsche will do but I want to lead her in the right direction.
I think a nice cover is in order. What do you think is a good indoor/light outdoor cover. Outdoor only if for short time periods. Thanks

I have a cover but i store my car .. only really use it then .. it is just a general very light cotton to keep the dust and debris out from my garage as I never have the top on.

Black car + car cover = scratches!!!
Even light dust on the car OR dust trapped in the cover will be like fine grit sand paper every time you take the cover on and off.

I have a lapidary business so I should just cover with grit and call it a day! Looks like Ed's Cali Duster might win? Who sells those?

Here.....

Only buy the one with the wooden handle! it has the wax baked into the strands. The plastic handle version has the wax just sprayed on. Not the same.
My hubby sold thousands of these at Beverly Hills Motoring Accessories.

Funny we should talk about dusters ... Coz I was just going to order this shortly

Folks here now how much of a detail freak I am. I have used California dusters for many years and have been very pleased but I always like to try out new items and have heard very good reviews on the AWD. Moe Mistry will not sell any item that is mediocre. I have mixed memories of the Griot's garage store. Went there for the grand opening, took a lot of pics that day including several Porsche race cars that are on display and the speedster (in fact posted a thread) and then when I was exiting the parking lot ... Boom helplessly watched a Lexus back into my C4S
