on the 997 forum a Moderator posted a rather large FS ad....

I posted I thought it was not the place for a FS ad and was PM'd and asked to remove my comment....

I've given up on criticizing FS threads here. But, a Mod is a member, and technically they can advertise as any member. This guy comes on as a first post/non member to sell his junk-he's gonna take flak. Besides, he can't even spell Porsche.

That 997 forum can be a dangerous place I suppose, but given his mod-ness, couldn't he just delete your post himself. I don't know if it's a good thing or not but, at least he asked.
I don't mind FS ads as long as they are choice products offered by a genuine member at a fair price. Trying to sling junk yard crap to a knowledgeable audience at unrealistic prices is an offront to us who pay to play. Ed H. is pretty intuitive in these threads and usually calls it right.
