My question was more about establishing what the "beige inserts" were on Cork seats. I have a car with a cork interior that is missing its original front seats, so I'm hoping to source a pair with the beige inserts as specified on the COA.

Sourcing a set with this insert after this many years will be a challenge. It may be easier to have an upholsterer make the insert.

According to my Porsche Redbook, pinstripe flannel was a no cost option as well as a diagonal Porsche script option.

I don’t know if you’ve looked at the price of sports seats lately, but the set below just sold 2 days ago. I’m not saying this price is representative of all the market, but be aware.

my cork originals and a couple of cork seats i bought for 200 bucks CAD at a swap meet.

Those look great. And your originals at 200 CAD was a great deal. I got a good laugh at the $16.5k paid for sports seats. In 2005 I was complaining about the $800 I spent for mine.

thanks .. i have to say i got my car in 2005, and i paid less than what they wanted for those seats . lol.
