Default Help with Matching numbers 911

I have just purchased a 1973 911T Targa as a project. It appears the chassis # and engine # are appropriate for this era car, but how do I determine if the motor is original to car?
Chassis #: 9113111400
Engine #: 6133909

Thanks

josh

About the only way that you can learn that info, short of finding documents for the car, is to buy a COA from Porsche.

For free as close as you will likely come is the year when each were produced. COA is likely best for accuracy unless a PO listed it in a registry somewhere and had the proper documentation to support it.

Thanks. Car and Motor are appropriate year and it is a CIS car as it should be.
No records. It is a garage find...was driving my 83 targa and I was questioned about it at a stop light...then one thing led to another and a straight, complete and essentially rust-free 73 1/2 targa is mine.
