Salvage Title
Can someone please tell me the proper definition of "salvage title" and what it means? Thanks.

fully written off by the insurance company as more expensive to repair than to replace. titles are branded with this as a reslt of theft, fire, flood or other significant loss.
having a salvage title branded vehicle impacts the vehicle value in mose cases. having complete documentation as to why the title was branded, and any docs/pics on the repair is helpful.....but doesn't always mitigate the devaluation due to branding.
different states and ins companies have different standards and thresholds for this branding.

...and by the way......I hope this doesn't have to do with your new p-car. it sure looks to be a beauty! if everything can be explained and proven by documentation and photo's I would necessarily be scared of the car......jusy know it will have dimished value to the next owner of the car. price your purchase accordingly.
