Arrow a/c bulkhead vent

I have a '77 911 and I would like to improve air conditioning by installing a bulkhead vent under the dash near the console ('77 model does not have that).

Has anyone done this? How should I do it? What parts do I need?

Thanks

I plan on doing this before it gets much warmer. Here is a link that will help.

I am planning on drilling a 1,25 inch hole there, but I am not sure how to connect a new vent to a/c ducts.
