Arrow Bosch parts catalog online

If you go to this link, you can get the list of Bosch part numbers for equipment on the engine of your choosing:

http://app5.bosch.de/cgi-bin/WebObje...nguage=English

I had some problems with it flipping into the German language version, but clearing the cache and memory took care of it. I also printed out some part number pages for my file. For better printing, in Netscape, I recommend going into edit, preferences, and setting colors to black text, white background, and check "always use my colors". Otherwise you get black print on a grey background, which is a bit less readable.

I couldn't get it to work. It claims there is no such thing as a 3 litre 911.

Tom,

I just put in Porsche, 911, 3.00, KW, 1983 and it came through with the listing. Why it doesn't like a specific KW rating, who knows....

Guys,
A word of caution. This resource has been around for a long time (I have posted this link a number of times on the lists). You all need to be aware that it shows the Bosch Part Number not the Porsche Part Number. In quite a few cases the Bosch part number alone unit is not suitable for your Porsche. A perfect example is O2 sensors.
Just be aware of this. Bosch OEM parts may look cheaper but they can end up costing you a lot of money. Many of these part numbers are also well out of date. I have personally been caught with this before. Relays caught me out. The straight Bosch number got me lower rated relays. I wanted 40amp and I got 15amp. Bosch number was the same but the Porsche number was different. Just tread with caution to avoid unecessary heartache and costs,
Ciao,
Adrian

PS: They still have not fixed up the KW function.
