So, asking for clarification is a sin, posting up numerous links to pictures of the finished product I am assuming you are looking for is a sin, and having a buddy with a bunch of what you are looking for is also completely and utterly a waist of your time? OK. Cause I can't recall if it's the 100mm 11 crimp cap you need or the 110mm 11 crimp cap you need. If it the 100mm they are 20 minutes down the road and I could fab one up in the shop in an hour. . .... but, you don't need my help,so...

Ignore him. Don't look at him and he will go away...

So to clarify things again. I need the upright tube with fitting for modified Blau cap built out of aluminum. That part could use a 100 or 110 cap and yes if I need to my shop can build the handle drill the holes and TIG weld it on. This would mean that the overflow bowl will also be made of aluminum. I would prefer to weld the bowl to the tube at my shop. But if it is a kit and I need to buy the aluminum tube and bowl with the cap then count me in for the immediate gratification.

Local shop said all aluminum will require total fabrication start to finish.

Start with the cap 100mm found for $33 at http://www.wolfsburgwest.com/cart/De...m?ID=111201551

move on to http://www.mcmaster.com/#aluminum-tubing/=e6bfjn You will need to be creative and make 2 half-moon inserts out of a smaller diameter pipe or shrink the 4" down to fit the inside diameter.

then get yourself a good old aluminum kitchen funnel to cut up: http://www.kitchenworksinc.com/REGUL...Z__970264.aspx

from there it's a matter of how good you are with 6061, chop saw , your tig, and a lathe.

Something tells me you can do this.
