I listed my 1988 Porsche Carrera for sale in the paper this past week. I have recently done the clutch, shocks, brakes, tie rods, tune up, and axle boots with in the last 7,500 miles. I'm asking $23,900 with 113K miles. The cars is super clean. I have been getting calls, but some people are freaking out when they find out the car has 113k miles. Now I know that a well maintained car can surpass 200k miles no problem. My question is.......is my car over priced?

I'm a Kelly Blue Book man and always have been...yours if it's a coupe and excellent says about $20k, so your not far off...NADA is probably higher, as long as it's in excellent condition and your records are up, you should be able to get the KBB price no problem...

Advertising in the newspaper may be your problem.
When I was looking for my Porsche the internet was a much better resource ( I found mine on autotrader). Also, because of sites like this one, you are probably dealing with a more informed customer, who will know that 113K on a well maintained Porsche is not a big deal.
I sold my Vette 2 years ago over the net(free ad) to a guy who knew what he wanted after wasting over $100 on the local newspaper and talking to wannabes and test pilots.
There are a number of places you can advertise for free on ther net.

A lot of times CA cars can get a little premium, but you might be a tad high. I agree with all the other posts and maybe when you write the ad mention how you drove the car. 14-15 years on the road is less than 8k/year AND if you have all the records is a solid buy for someone who knows P-cars well.
If you are the original owner make sure to mention it and just face the fact that most of the population looks at 100k+ as high mileage no matter what the car.

I just sold my Dodge Viper RT-10 a few days ago. I recommend that you provide your buyer with a dealership report (full examination) of what needs to be fixed (will cost about $150). If the car is truly well maintained and the buyer knows what he/she is doing (most used P car buyers are more sophisticated), they will be happy to pay a premium to get a clean and healthy used P car. Also, have all your receipts in good order. P-car buyers care about the "care." part.
The sophisticated P car buyers know that 100K is normal if you maintained it well.
I sold my Viper with a dealer report as well as a full itemized and choronological packet of my dealer service invoices. I priced it at 10% under KBB and the car was sold after 4 days on autotrader.com to the first viewer in cash.
