avon tyres
my car has avon tyres all round,however the rear's are zz1's and the fronts are turbospeed cr228's,7mm left on rear's,5.5mm on fronts.
will this tread pattern mixture affect the handling ?
should i match the fronts to the newer rear's ?

I also have Avon ZZ1s on all 4. They are rated @ 166 mph...don't know about the cr288s. If you have the budget I would say yes to matching tread patterns and whatever other characteristics they may share as identical types.
