hood latch adjustment
I need to get the front of the hood lid a little closer to the bumper or the rubber trim that sits on top of the bumper, maybe about an 1/8 of an inch max. Is this a matter of adjusting the latch on the hood or are there other tricks?

There are adjustable bumpers at the corners of the hood that hold the corners. These can be raised or lowered to help locate the hood position. It is the small black round thing in the corner near the headlight. This adjustment was all I needed to do. If the latch needs adjustment, hopefully others can provide guidance.

There are two plugs covering a couple of hex head bolts on the inside of the trunk. Not sure they are 5mm or 5.5mm. You loosen them and adjust up or down for the proper clearance. I use a Bra (mask) on my 88 Carrera and I had to loosen them to raise the latch due to the fabric of the Bra.
