Hi - I just acquired a 1973 911E and I'm not sure about the batteries. There is some minor leaking that I'm going to clean up and since I'm going to remove the batteries to do a thorough cleaning I've decided to replace them with new gel batteries.

I'm thinking of replacing both with Sonnenschein (DF75) batteries.

Has anyone installed these in their early '70-73 LWB 911? Did they fit without mods?
