haha, I hear ya it was like a 78' T-bird! Maybe it had a lot of work done to it!!

gentlemen...a tbird?

no, it was a camaro. In stock form, they are dogs..but a mater criminal like hector or whatever his name is probably stuffed a 383 in there making more power than a stock 930.

Yup, great movie. The sister isn't too bad :-)
The chase is with a 3rd generation Camaro, '82 - '92, whose stock 8 cyl was about 150 HP.
Obviously it wouldn't hold a candle a n/a 911 let alone the 930, so it is a bit of a lame chase.
Rest of the flick is cool though.

Some flaws in the chase for those who never picked it up, in one scene you can see the rear quater window already out just before they go in to the abandoned wharehouse, then as they try to get away it gets shot out by the guys in the Camaro.
Secondly before the camaro hits the Pepsi truck the 930 is perfect in front...after the Camaro hit the truck the 930 is missing all the trim on the front bumper and chin spoiler.
Bit of useless information I know

I've never watched this one. Definitely going to keeping an eye out for it! I've always drooled over Will Smith's Porsche in Bad Boys - so from the sounds of it, I'm gonna have a new fav movie!! Great suggestion!!!

Yeah, a T-Bird. You know, the OTHER car in the first half of the chase until it crashed into the blue school bus? The big green boat? Actually I'm pretty sure it was a Continental and not a 'bird...

Another is when the passenger side fog light gets broken during the first part of the chase when going over the bumps in the street and then after the hiding-in-the-warehouse bit, but before the Pepsi truck it's intact.

That's another scene! We're not talking about the Camaro. THere is a chase scene w/ the old 70s T-Bird.

I think there is a yellow Targa chase scene in commando, right? If you watch the scene closely, when Arnold pushes the car back on all fours, you see the whole side was damaged. Then when he gets in a takes off, the car is perfect on that side!
