It is actually very common to get the spots around the base of the windshield if the glass has been replaced. The previous owner had the windshield replaced by a butcher and now there are 2 spots about 2" long and 1/4" wide right where the rubber meets the metal. It is solid and hasn't gotten worse in the last 1 3/4 yrs. It has been there since I purchased the car and now I want it fixed before it becomes something. ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
