I was wondering if engine rattling is an issue. For example, on my 2004 911 Anniversary Edition (345) my engine will rattle briefly when starting up again during driving. In essence, my car rattles sometimes after I slow down and then pick up speed, and also sometimes rattles during complete stops. If you have info, it's greatly appreciated! btw when I say rattling during complete stops, what I mean is when I accerelate again. Thanks.

 

Although you didn't say how many miles are on your car nor anything about the oil you use, you should have your chain tensioners checked by a professional experienced with these M96 engines.

 

What Steve was too nice to add, is that this is the REAL 911 section. You really need to post these questions in the 996 section.
