Checked mine and it is right at 5" I do angle a bit if I have to go across a sharp incline but really not that much of an issue if you are aware.

I love the Petrol Blue, and that has the makings of being a very fun car.

It is truly sad that your friend Steve could not finish the car, but it is great that you are going to take it on and get it across the finish line. It is hard for an "outsider" to pick up a mid-way through project and I imagine many such cars end up being parted for other projects. I expect it will certainly bring some warm memories to Steve's widow when she sees the car done. Good luck!!
