PORSCHE 73RS REPLICA/TRIBUTE
.. $75-80k invested ....asking high $40s...located in NY...can work possible delivery
PM request for a complete photo portfolio.
Narrative:
The original chassis is a 1977 Porsche 911S VIN# 9117201571, in perfect condition
Registered and titled in the State of New York
I am the second owner of the donor car having purchased it from the original owner, a doctor , in 1994. The car has always been garaged, never used in the snow, absolutely free of any corrosion, and has never been damaged in any way. Even though it was not used in the winter, the original owner actually had Zeibart anti-corrosion applied. After I purchased the car the engine was rebuilt in stock form for PCA Club Racing events.
I used the car in its original factory stock form (H Stock) in PCA Club events for 6 races before beginning a project to convert it to its present form. The car has never been hit or damaged in any way. The stock engine was removed and used in a 914 project. It was replaced with a special build performance motor that I purchased from APCAR (see below). Steel 8 flares were added, steel front fenders have been retained. A fiberglass hood, front and rear bumpers and spoiler replaced the original factory pieces.
The completed project is a very aggressively tuned street replica; perfect for the track should you be so inclined. There are no track miles on the car/engine in its present form. PM request for a complete photo portfolio.
