What options on wheels did the 88 Carrera come with?
#2
If I remember correctly, the 15" Fuch's wheel was the standard fitment (7Jx15 front, 8Jx15 rear). The 16" Fuch's were optional equipment (6" front, 7" rear). I do not remember polished spokes as being an option at that time and my literature makes no mention of it either.

Kenshi,
I don't think polished rims were an option in `88. Jay is right that 15" were standard and 16" options. In 1989 (the last year of the 3.2 Carrera) the standard wheel became the 6Jx16 front and 8Jx16 rears. As to whether polished spokes were an option try emailing Brue Anderson at bruce1485@aol.com <bruce1485@aol.com>

The 15" phone dials where still standard equipment in 1986. I believe the phone dials were finally discontinued for 1987. The 15" Fuchs were standard in 1988 with the 16" Fuchs still being an option.
