Default Door Panels Fitting

I have an 83sc and would like to try to put 89 door panels on because they already have the cut out for the tweeter in the door. The question is will the 89's fit on my SC? If anyone has done this let me know. Thanks.

These must be 964 panels, '89.5?

No, I believe the 1st half of the year is still a 911. The panels look just like my original ones except they have a cut out for a tweeter.

The G-50 cars added tweeters above the woofers in the door panels.

I think they will fit, I'm just not sure about tweeter depth in the metal behind the panel.

Funny thing about my '88 is that it has the port with nothing inside it but a chunk of foam.
