Default Targa question
I need to refinish my Targa hoop. I have spent a lot of time researching the painting process, but I am unsure what color Targa emblem came with a 1987 Targa from the factory. The silver/gray emblem that is on the car shows evidence of masking. While I see a lot of silver script emblems in on-line photos, some of concours cars and factory photos have black emblems.

Any help would be appreciated.

The targa emblem was black in all the Carrera models. Many were anodized and faded to a silverish appearance

My '89 was/is black.
