It's a Momo Tuner wheel. The dark red sticthing is pretty close to the Burgundy interior color. It was an easy install.

I upgraded my speakers. I also found the original front speaker grills and black plastic aftermarket 4 x 6 covers for the back. Looks like finding the original back ones in good condition at a reasonable cost is tough. I need to find some black screws for the back this weekend.

I also found a used footwell blower here and changed out the motor in the drivers side. The old motor had a spun bearing. I need to check the passenger side as it is not running, but for some reason the passenger lever operates the driver blower. The driver lever also operates the driver blower. Sounds like a wiring issue.

Don't go too crazy on the restoration. It will take the fun out of being a good driver.
I think a driver quality car like yours is more fun than a concours restoration.

Congrats, she's a beaute and welcome to the 997 / 3.2 club! You will appreciate each one more, because you can constanly compare the two and enjoy what each specifically brings to the table.

All nice, but 2 items that you will eventuall find useless. You will hardly ever play the music, there is no substitute for the music coming from the engine bay and if you alt the exhaust, forgedddaboutit! Same goes for the vents, blowers, A/C. The only time I drive the car is when it is nice, so off goes the top! Then in the winter, all you need is your floor heat that is a seperate system near the handbrake.

How many miles on the clock?

86,000 miles. It has the original paint and interior, with a redone Targa top one year ago. It appears to have been garaged it's whole life. The paint has a few rock chips but is in great shape. The dash has no cracks. The leather is good, all but scuffs on the driver's seat bolster. The service manager at Momemtum Porsche here in Houston has a guy who can dye single sections, which I am going to look into.

After a lot of thought. I am going to order the new 991. In order to lighten up on cars I have placed my Targa for sale. I plan on trading my 997. It is up for sale in the marketplace here at Rennlist:

Sounds like you have had enough of the summer fun with the 911. It is a looker so hopefully someone will buy it. Good luck.

I am curious if you looked under the hood at the paint code to see if the color is really "Diamond blue metalic"? The car is beautiful.

I looked at the original sticker and the paint code is F5V9 and the interior code is LX. The paint color is a lot like my Slate Grey 997 and picks up the hues around it.

diamond blue metalic is a nice silver hue that looks allmost purplish in the twilight. I loved that colour on my 944

I agree. It really sets itself apart from all the other silver cars. It has dimension and depth to it and looks very expensive. It really shows off the curvy lines of a 911. It is hard to capture how nice it is in a pic. It looks from gun metal grey, to bright silver, to lavender, depending on he light.
