Default Value of 6 x 16 fuchs

I've heard swapping the rear 7" wheels to the front and putting 8" wheels on the rear will widen the cars stance and improve handling. The wheels on the car are in great condition. What is the value of the front 6" x 16 fuchs? Is this something i would list on eBay or here? Thanks

Check eBay closed auctions and look for pair that have sold. That will give you a good idea. I just bought a set of 7s and 8s off of a 930. The 7s are not too pricey, but the 8s are pretty expensive.

6's aren't worth much imho. Might as well just stash them in the garage.

Call someone like Lindsey. I think it is the 6" wheels they use for center donors when making their 3 piece 17" wheels.

Oh yeah, you'll love that 7/8 setup. It looks great.

Lindsey will give me $125/ea for two of mine

not just any 6x16 Fuch

I sent them high bit pics of the hubs from the rear. Corrosion is the issue

that said... street price of a good Fuch 6x16 should be $125 + some bucks for the finish condition. If the finish is not acceptable then only the base price

this is only my logic

Lindsey charges a little more if you need a core, I think I paid $225 about 2 years ago. One of the cores I sent was pitted on the back, (too bad I paid $175 for it.)

So...If someone is hot to get a set of Lindseys made, and they need some cores, they might pay $200 or so for each.

Last week, I added a set of 3/4" wheel spacers to the rear wheels. Nicely filled out the wheel well!

Zois. Think I have a buyer for both. Will let you know.

Andy, I looked at the spacers too. I was surprised how much they cost. Ones I've seen are about $175 a pair. Is that about the cost you saw when you got yours?

Ed, Got an appointment next week for the lowering, torsion bars and bushings. Think we'll do the wheels at the same time.

Thanks everybody.
