Default 911 Battery replacement Key Head

Im changing the battery ( Key Head) on my 1986 carrera and the copper strip fell out and i didnt pat attention where it goes can anyone post a picture to its location. Cant get it to work now. It was dim now i get nothing

i would but i did an upgrade to a super white LED . so i can actually use the thing now

There is a great thread on Pelican about converting your keys to leds ... I did both of mine for $11.00 dollars and the difference is incredible.
Do a search in the 911 BBS forum under LED !

You don't need your copper strip anymore when you do this mod,i was missing it in one of my keys now i have two functional ones ...

Yeah, do the upgrade. You won't be disappointed. As well, you won't need the copper strip. If you insist, it goes in the little slot adjacent to the bulb. If you hold the head so the key is facing up, it is just below the bulb, to the left of the enclosure and orientated side to side with the strip on it's edge and not flat, IIRC. But just do the LED conversion. It's way more gooder.
