Replaceing fuel lines and Breather line???

Replaceing fuel lines and Breather line???
Can I go to pep boys or napa with the old fuel lines and breather line and size them up and just replace them? I would much rather do this then pay top dollar from a porsche supplier. Any one ever do this???

Just finished replacing the vapor lines on my '88 cab, the only hitch is finding 1/2" fuel lines, PEP Boys didn't have them, had to go to NAPA for the 1/2" lines, other than that, get fuel line (not vacuum or heater hose) from any auto parts house.
Now, about a 911 fuel pump.....
